Although now based in Brittany, Fred Mazoir, an artistic blacksmith, originally comes from Haute-Savoie.
This detail matters, as the mineral-rich landscape deeply influenced him, just like the many hours spent in his grandfather\u2019s woodworking workshop.
Exposed from an early age to the magic of fire and manual craftsmanship, he chose to pursue an artistic path in his studies.
A graduate of the \u00c9cole des Beaux-Arts in Quimper in 1993, he has since never stopped exploring every aspect of a captivating world \u2014 that of metal transformation. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Fred Mazoir loves the iron he shapes. For the many
possibilities this material offers, no doubt. But also for its
paradoxical nature.
Sharp, cold, rigid… Iron can also be soft, hot, malleable
… And this polymorphous, ever-changing character is perfectly captured by Fred
Manoir in his
works.
Looking at his work, you realize that, far from being inert,
iron is, on the contrary, an organic substance, eminently

A tamer of grayness and a purveyor of light, Alexis Ferron has been working as an independent stained-glass craftsman since 2003.<\/p>

Stained-glass work is a demanding discipline that requires equal parts artistry and craftsmanship.
Alexis Ferron\u2019s creations are a perfect illustration of this dual calling. <\/p>

For while it’s true that he loves juggling with colors, what this
artist appreciates above all is playing with the
transparency of glass. Mastering all the techniques of
the art of stained glass, he offers tailor-made compositions,
adapted to the places for which they are intended, both in form and in spirit. <\/p>

A fan of clean lines, Alexis creates one-of-a-kind pieces.
They can be designed for any type of structure (door
and windows, transoms, verandas, arbors or shades…), and can be
